L’economia ceca ha accusato nel secondo trimestre la più pesante flessione della sua storia, con un calo del Pil del 10,7% su base annua, al netto degli effetti di calendario, mentre su base trimestrale il calo è stato dell’8,4%. A causare questo andamento è stata in primo luogo la forte diminuzione della domanda estera e, a seguire, i bassi consumi delle famiglie e della attività di investimento, come rilevato dall’Ufficio nazionale di statistica.
The Czech economy contracted by 10.7 percent year on year and by 8.4 percent quarter on quarter in the second quarter of this year. This follows from a preliminary estimate of gross domestic product (GDP) published today by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO). According to him, GDP fell the most in the history of the independent Czech Republic. This was affected by restrictive measures against the spread of coronavirus.
