Il Governo ceco ha deciso che da venerdì 18 dicembre il Paese passa al livello 4 del Sistema PES. Tale passaggio comporta una forte limitazione o l’interruzione di molte attività. Più nello specifico:
- Dovranno chiudere gli spazi al pubblico di ristoranti, bar, musei, gallerie o centri fitness.
- Gli alberghi potranno ospitare solo persone in viaggio di lavoro.
- Una deroga dalle restrizioni è prevista per i negozi al dettaglio, che dovranno tuttavia rispettare la regola di un cliente ogni 15 mq e potranno restare aperti anche la domenica.
- Viene reintrodotto il coprifuoco dalle ore 23 alle ore 5.
- Il numero massimo di persone nei luoghi pubblici sia all’aperto che al chiuso cala a sei.
- Le scuole chiuderanno prima del previsto. Le vacanze di Natale cominceranno già questo venerdì per gli studenti. Le attività scolastiche dovrebbero riprendere il 4 gennaio 2021.
A causa della situazione epidemiologica il Governo ha proposto ulteriori programmi di sostegno alle imprese:
- Covid Najemne III: il programma prevede un contributo pari al 50% dell’affitto per i locali ad uso commerciale, relativamente ai mesi di ottobre, novembre e dicembre; ed è rivolto alle società obbligate alle chiusura degli esercizi.
- Antivirus: il programma per il sostegno al pagamento degli stipendi dei lavoratori dipendenti è ancora attivo fino al 31.12.2020; non è stata ufficializzata la proroga.
- Covid Ubytovani II: è stato approvato il secondo bando a sostegno di hotel e strutture ricettive, come nel primo bando, si potrà chiedere un contributo per ogni camera e giorno in cui non è stato possibile ospitare turisti.
- Covid Gastro: nuovo programma a sostegno delle aziende della ristorazione, che potranno chiedere un contributo mensile per ogni giorno di chiusura forzata per il periodo dal 14.10.20 al 31.12.20.
I programmi Covid Najemne III e Covid Ubytovani II saranno oggetto di approvazione da parte della Commissione Europea, per cui non sono ancora in vigore.

The Czech Government has decided that from Friday 18th December the Country shall move to level 4 of PES Sistem. This means that many activities are severely restricted or interrupted. More in detail:
- The spaces to the public of restaurants, bars, museums, galleries and fitness centers shall be closed.
- The hotels can only accomodate people in bussiness trips.
- An exeption to the restrictions is provided for retail stores, which will have to comply with the rule of one customer every 15 square meters and may remain open, also on Sundays.
- Curfew is reintroduced from 23:00 to 5:00.
- The maximum number of people in public places both outdoors and indoors falls to six.
- Schools will close early. Christmas holidays will begin this Friday for students. School activities should start from 4 January 2021.
Due to the epidemiological situation, the Government has proposed further support programs for business:
- Covid Najemne III: the program provides a contribution of 50% of the rent for premises for commercial use, the relevant period includes the months of October, November and December; the program is aimed to companies obliged to close their activities.
- Antivirus: the program that supports the payment of employees’ salaries is still active until 31.12.2020; the extension has not been formalized.
- Covid Ubytovani II: the second call in support of hotels and accommodation facilities has been approved, as in the first call, these companies can ask for a contribution for each room and day in which it was not possible to accommodate tourists.
- Covid Gastro: new program in support of restaurants and catering companies, which will be able to ask for a contribution for each day of forced closure for the period from 14.10.2020 to 31.12.2020.
The Covid Najemne III and Covid Ubytovani II programs will be approved by the European Commission, so they are still not in force.
